ERDO is the humanitarian arm of the PAOC, providing food, clean water, and education to vulnerable communities worldwide.
When a massive famine struck Ethiopia in 1983, over one million people sadly lost their lives. To respond to the incredible need of a nation, leaders at The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) decided to serve the hungry and vulnerable in a new way. From the biblical call to “do good,” ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas) was born. ERDO now serves as the humanitarian agency of the PAOC.
ERDO works with communities all over the world, listening and passionately responding to their practical needs, like food and clean water. We partner with global and local churches to give families the skills and resources to break out of poverty. We empower children and their families through education, giving them hope for a brighter future.
Broadway Church reaches outside its walls to positively impact lives both locally and globally. Globally, we support many Global Workers who are the hands and feet of Jesus around the world. Each year we also send out multiple local and international short-term missions teams who serve first-hand in an outreach context.
