You can be:  A Voice of Encouragement

The Sunshine Club is for those who would like to write encouraging cards to individuals who may be experiencing sickness, grieving, living in long-term care, facing difficult circumstances, or simply in need of a reminder that God cares for them. Our desire is to be people of action: people who reflect the love of Christ and leave a lasting impact on both our church family and our community.

This is how the Sunshine Club works:

Each month, you will receive an email with names and specific needs. Depending on our church’s current prayer requests, you may write one or several cards that month.

You are welcome to purchase or create your own cards, or we can provide you with a package of cards.

Once you have completed your cards, bring them to the church. You can leave the cards at the Info Desk in the Main Lobby and let them know they need to go to the office, and that they are with the Sunshine Club.  

We will then address it, add the postage stamp, and mail it out. (This helps us protect recipients' privacy and ensures each card reaches the right person.)

           A simple card can be a powerful reminder of God's love. ☀️

If you enjoy writing and have a heart for lifting others up, this is the perfect place for you to serve!  ☀️ God can use your written words to bring comfort and hope!
