Check out this video to see where Broadway Church partnered globally in the last 12 months.
Nelson and Lisa work with Mission Global, in our Pentecostal denomination and Nelson is also the Assistant Regional Director for Latin America and Caribbean region, with a focus on holistic discipleship for the region.
Presently, they are Canada-based, travelling a few times per year to Brazil. Their vision is to see local churches in both Brazil and Canada become kingdom agents of transformation for the gospel.
They have raised up a team of what they call “Kingdomizers” in Brazil. This team of over 50 young people, from local churches, are dedicated kingdom agents seeking to transform the spheres of society for Christ. Moreover, they've had more than 1,000 young adults complete our the “Kingdomizers” training program to reach their communities all throughout Brazil. They are now working to bring a similar movement here, in Canada.
Additionally, they partner with ten churches and organizations throughout Brazil that help children and families in impoverished communities.
Nelson is also the regional coordinator of the Disciple Nations Alliance (DNA) for the Portuguese region that includes mainly Brazil but also other Portuguese-speaking countries. They have just published the curriculum “The Gospel at Work” (10-week study guide) with the goal to equip professionals in a sound biblical worldview for transformation in society. Broadway Church reaches outside its walls to positively impact lives both locally and globally. Globally, we support many Global Workers who are the hands and feet of Jesus around the world. Each year we also send out multiple local and international short-term missions teams who serve first-hand in an outreach context.
