If God created the world good, why is there so much suffering, injustice, and evil? And how can human beings be capable of extraordinary kindness and extraordinary cruelty? Something has clearly gone wrong. But what if understanding what's broken about our world begins with understanding what's broken about us? The Bible offers an explanation that might challenge what we believe about ourselves and why the world is the way it is. It also reveals an incredible truth: we are more valuable than we think, more broken than we want to admit, and more loved than we could ever imagine.
