The cross is one of the most recognizable symbols in the world. We see it on buildings, wear it around our necks, and sing about it in churches. But how often do we stop to consider what actually happened there? Most people know that Jesus died on the cross. Many understand that His sacrifice offers forgiveness for our sins. But what if that's only part of the story? What if there's something about the cross that even those who have spent their entire lives in church have missed? Understanding what Jesus accomplished on the cross could completely change the way we see ourselves, the way we relate to God, and the way we live our lives.
