What we ask of Jesus often reveals how we see Him. In Mark 10, James and John ask Jesus for glory and position, while Bartimaeus cries out for mercy. Although Bartimaeus was physically blind, he saw Jesus more clearly than those closest to Him. This message challenges us to examine our prayers, recognize what we truly need, and allow Jesus to change not only our circumstances, but the direction of our lives. When we see Jesus clearly, we follow Him fully.
