Hannah Greenham

YWAM - Taiwan

Hannah has been working hard learning the Chinese language as she continues her ministry in Taiwan. She has the privilege to be a part of so many ministries in Taipei. She is able to teach the Word of God at Bible studies in churches and teach non-believers the English language using biblical concepts. As well, she is building relationships with local youth, young adults and the elderly. Hannah wants to continue to grow in confidence in speaking Chinese and asks that we pray that God would increase her understanding!

Why do we partner with these Global Workers?

Simply because they know the needs on the ground.
They have been well trained and as they work, the Holy Spirit is opening their eyes to the needs of the people there.

Our Global workers, who are our friends, give the people they meet and work with, just what they need - in many cases, even providing basic human needs.

We trust them as experts in their field and have seen their effectiveness.
They have been commissioned and sentout from our church family.
They have been entrusted and empowered to “Go”, and we desire to see the Lord work in mighty ways in and through them as they do His Kingdom Work!

We support our Global Workers every month through your generosity! In addition, here are some examples of projects/organizations we financially provided funds for in 2024.

Helped Camp Yukon upgrade their infrastructure
Assisted a village with an electricity project
Funded a refugee cooking business
Provided funds for anti-human trafficking endeavours
Gave mobile do-it-yourself water kits for displaced people
Broadway paid for an entire year for a school feeding program

Outreach/Spiritual needs

Helped fund a church plant
Provided Bibles
Assisted UCM with evangelism and outreach endeavours
Funded overseas pastoral training and mentoring programs

Why do we do this?

Because we believe that every person was created to experience and express the purest love imaginable.
Our outreach strategy includes meeting the needs of our world in very practical ways. Through our Global Outreach Fund, we mobilize our “why" by partnering with Indigenous initiatives and university ministries in our province. Internationally, we help build schools, drill freshwater wells, and respond to humanitarian disasters; as well as support the personal budgets of people who feel called across the globe to serve in their country of burden. We also train and send teams to go out on short-term trips to serve and give-back to communities that need ministry teams. All of this is done so that those in our world can experience the purest love imaginable.

We believe that “when you go on missions, you grow in your faith!”

Broadway Church reaches outside its walls to positively impact lives both locally and globally. Globally, we support many Global Workers who are the hands and feet of Jesus around the world. Each year we also send out multiple local and international short-term missions teams who serve first-hand in an outreach context.
